Statement Of Faith
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word is for everyone. It was written by human authors who were guided by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is the truth. It is eternal and has supernatural power to change lives. It is completely relevant to our daily lives.
Romans 15:4 - For whatever was thus written in former days was written for our instruction, that by [our steadfast and patient] endurance and the encouragement [drawn] from the Scriptures we might hold fast to and cherish hope.
2 Peter 20-21, Deuteronomy 4:2, Proverbs 30:5, Psalms 119:105.
We believe in one true God, the Creator, who has existed for all eternity. He is one God in three Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each member of the Trinity serves different functions but has equal power and authority.
John 14:16 - And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever.
John 14:2 - In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.
Mathew 28:19, Mark 1:9-11, Luke 1:35.
We believe in God the Father. He is a Spirit Being, eternal, self-existent, unchanging, all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever present. He is perfect holiness, righteousness, love, and faithfulness. He is completely worthy of our trust. It is in Him that we live, move and exist.
John 4:24 - God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).
Hebrews 9:14, Exodus 3:14, John 5:26, Malachi 3:6, James 1:17.
We believe in God the Son – Jesus Christ. He is eternal, and co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Though He is God, He gave up His divine privileges and was born as a human being. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and that He is coming back again.
Matthew 3:17 - And behold, a voice from heaven said, This is My Son, My Beloved, in Whom I delight!
Matthew 8:29, Matthew 14:33, Matthew 16:16, Luke 22:70, John 1:1-3, John 10:30.
We believe in God the Holy Spirit. He is eternal, and co-equal with the Father and the Son. He dwells within believers, revealing the Son and the Father to us, and guiding us into all truth. He exalts Christ and works to bring people to faith in Him. He is our helper. The power of the Holy Spirit within us enables us to witness and to live a righteous life. The fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit are for the Church today, including divine healing. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is for all believers with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
Genesis 1:2 - The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.
Matthew 28:19, John 14:17, 1 Corinthians 3:16, John 16:8, John 3:5-6, Galatians 5:22-23, 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, Joel 2:28-29, Acts 2:1-11, 10:44-47, 19:6.
Our Vision and Mission is to see souls saved, accepting Christ as their Lord and Saviour, worshiping, glorifying the one true God.
